The Olympus CR10 docking station is not only a nice stand to place your dictation device (DS5000 or DS5000ID and DS3400 ), DS on your desk. It is multi-functional and connects via USB cable to your computer so you can download your voice files quickly and easily. While connected to a switched-on PC it recharges the inserted battery pack automatically (USB charge function needs to be activated via The Olympus DS-5000 or DS-5000ID DS3400 menu). If you prefer to charge your battery independently from the PC, just connect the stand to its AC power adapter. The outstanding feature is that it allows hands free dictation. The optional footswitch connected to the docking station allows the recording/ playback control without handling.
